Revere, MA mandates Rodent Resistant Trash Bags in local ordinance.

REVERE, MASSACHUSETTS – On January 1st, 2012, the town of Revere, Massachusetts began enforcing the Sanitation Ordinance that mandates the use of rodent resistant trash bags to help control the rodent population.

According to the City of Revere:

8.04.024(b) Only trash bags designated as rodent-resistant trash bags can be used for the storage of household waste, refuse, solid waste, garbage, litter, junk or other forms of rubbish.
